Reinstatement

Things to Know

License reinstatement are done through the Division of Motor Vehicles, Adjudication Unit.

• Reinstatement is done on a case-by-case basis. You may have fines that must be paid before reinstatement can be processed. A hearing officer will be able to assist you.
• After reinstatement, to obtain your license, you must go to a DMV branch location with your reinstatement notice, one Identity Document, and Proof of Residency.
• Costs are listed in the DMV Fee Table.
