Lost or Damaged Licenses

A lost or damaged Rhode Island driver's license can be replaced Online and at any DMV branch location or at a AAA branch office (members only).

Forms and Fees

• You need to complete and sign the License/ID/Permit Application
• Refer to the third page of the License/ID/Permit Application for a list of documents needed to perform this transaction.
• Costs are listed in the DMV Fee Table

Commercial Driver License: Can not be renewed or duplicated by mail. Federal regulations require that a photo appear on the face of the license.
