Point of no Return

The distance that a driver needs in order to safely bring a vehicle to a complete stop. The point of no return is described as the distance needed to bring your vehicle to a complete stop so as not to enter the intersection, taking into consideration your speed and condition of the roadway. It is at that point braking must take place to ensure you do not enter the intersection or crash into another vehicle or fixed object.
