Alcohol Reinstatement Fees All reinstatements of driving privileges are conducted at the Adjudication Office of the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles. The Adjudication Office is located on the 3rd floor of the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles, 600 New London Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920. When a motorist satisfies all court-ordered suspension requirements, as well as any Division of Motor Vehicle suspension requirements, the motorist may reinstate their driving privilege. Alcohol-related reinstatement fees are as follows: Alcohol-related license reinstatement fee: $352.50* Alcohol Education Program: $350.00 Ignition Interlock Device- DMV Fee: $100.00 Updated License (indicating the hardship license and/or ignition interlock device restrictions): $27.50* (if applicable) *Fee includes a $2.50 technology charge. Accepted forms of payment are cash, credit or debit card, and check or money order. Third-party and temporary/starter checks are not accepted. If you are going to make payment with another person's credit or debit card, or personal check, that person must be with you at the time of payment.
