Veteran Designation

State law effective September 1, 2012 allows a veteran designation on a Rhode Island license or ID.

Veteran's must present a DD 214, DD 2, or other forms that show an honorable discharge to qualify for the veteran license or ID designation even if you already have veteran license plates.
The veteran designation is free of charge.
You will need to complete the Veteran Designation form and bring it to the DMV.
